About the Position
Come help us build our talent networking site. Reporting to the Director of R&D and working closely with our Operations team, you will need to be versed in all new technologies (Java, Web/Ajax, PHP) and be a self learner.
Objectives
You will be responsible to build, improve and maintain the backend of our site.
Skills
- Experience and familiarity with the Ruby on Rails framework
- Experience and familiarity of Ajax, PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JS, Flash
- Experience in multiple programming languages: such as C++, Java, J2EE
- Experience and familiarity with media streaming server (Adobe FSM, Wowza and/or Darwin)
- Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, OS X, BSD)
- Familiar with Internet based protocols, such as TCP/IP, HTTP
- Ability to troubleshoot the code of others and identify problem areas
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
